How Often May a Client Visit?

We ask that whenever possible, households visit no more than once per month. Additional visits per month may be permitted for households with special needs at the discretion of the Executive Director.

Clients that Need Help with Transportation

The Cooperstown Food Pantry is typically unable to provide transportation for clients due to liability issues, however, deliveries in special circumstances can be arranged on a case-by-case basis. We are working to develop a formal delivery program by Spring of 2023. If you do not have transportation, you may designate a friend or family member to come to the Food Pantry on your behalf.

Distribution to Someone Other than Client

The Cooperstown Food Pantry allows family members, neighbors and professional caregivers to pick up items for those clients who are unable to come to us. A letter must be on file, or phone call from the client received, before assistance is given to someone other than the client.
